Freedom Fire Protection’s story started long before we became a fire sprinkler company. In the 1990s, George Sr. and his wife, immigrated to the United States from Ukraine in search of a better life and more opportunity for their family. They came here with very little, but our dad brought with him something that would eventually become the foundation of our company: an incredible work ethic, a commitment to doing things the right way, and a willingness to sacrifice for the future of his family.

In 2002, George Sr. started his own plumbing company. Around that same time, while building a home for our own family, he took on the fire sprinkler system as part of the project. That experience eventually opened the door to a new direction for the business. Over the years, fire sprinkler work became a bigger part of what we did. 

 

By 2017, we had made the full transition into fire protection, and Freedom Fire Protection as it is today began to take shape. For a long time, it was simply George Sr. and George Jr. working side by side. They handled the jobs, worked directly with builders and homeowners, and built the company one relationship at a time. George Sr cared about the quality of his work, treated people fairly, and understood that in construction, your reputation follows you. Many of the relationships and referrals that helped build Freedom Fire Protection came from the trust he earned over decades in the industry.

As the company has grown, so has our team. What started with a father and son has expanded to include designers, office staff, pipefitters, and a team working together to serve builders, contractors, homeowners, and businesses throughout the communities we work in. But we never want to lose what made the company successful in the first place.
